We’re getting near the end of the year, so everyone is setting their goals, making their New Year resolutions and lists of things to do. But sometimes your real progress comes not from what you do — but what you choose to not do, or quit doing.

Here’s my NOT to do list for 2019…

• Spend more time on Facebook
• Get even
• Have the last word
• Interrupt more people I’m talking with
• Get into political debates on Twitter
• Watch more TV
• Skip on sleep
• Work on my business more than myself
• Take those I love for granted
