In embracing the UN GLOBAL COMPACT principles , we align ourselves to “do business responsibly and take action for a more sustainable future. Being a part of the UN GLOBAL COMPACT and the only finance company in Sri Lankan to achieve ISO certification for the practices and processes, Prosperous Capital is set to take on the micro finance industry head on.
For our efforts in the game of changing the microfinance pitch through the sustainable triple bottom line development, we won several international and local recognition awards. Our women- empowerment through women model was recognized at the Asia Responsible Entrepreneur Investment in People Award in 2016. Further, our efficiency in business conduct was displayed with the winning of the Bronze Medal at the SLIM NASC Awards 2016 for Best Sales Supervisor Financial Products & Services Category.
By improving our operational quality levels , we obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification by SGS, UK. During the second year , M. CRIL Micro Finance Institutional Rating awarded us the β (Beta) Positive Stable Outlook which is a considerable achievement as a company still in its toddlerhood.
PCCL expects to bring recognition to the microfinance industry in the international arena being a regulated value oriented company with a focus on people and innovation.
