The minimum proton you can order at Proto venture technology is one technical founder for a small amount of hours a month. His or her goal is to be your ideal technical co-founder. Helping out with technical details in your pitch deck, increasing the credibility of your business to friends and family or investors and — most importantly— building the architecture for your MVP and its production environment.
Although this setup is the least costly we offer, it certainly isn’t cheap and for a good reason. Having a technical founder by your side from Proto saves you from a ton of expensive mistakes an inexperienced co-founder would make. Like spending way too much time on the wrong things or not being able to prioritize work in terms of business value. Or working too hard and underperforming as a result of stress.

Our team members have selected the right tools for a startup like yours before. They are unbiased and pragmatic when it comes to selecting the right open source technologies. They won’t just pick the tool that they think is technically superior, but will decide which technology will provide the most value for your specific business case.
No overhead
At traditional product development shops it’s common to have a project manager, a front-end developer, a back-end developer and a designer working on your product. Although this can create high quality results its high costs and inflexible contracts are a bad match for early stage startups. A technical founder from Proto will be a one man band greatly reducing communication overhead and increasing the agility of your product development.
We execute fast
It’s not uncommon for us to crunch out a full fledged MVP in under 2 months. This ensures that your money is well spent and that your time to market is as short as possible. Great for when you are attempting to secure your first mover’s advantage or to be the fast follower.
Flexible
We know starting up can be a roller coaster ride and that keeping a healthy cash flow can be a challenge for early stage startups. We know this and will adapt accordingly with flexible low risk contracts.
