POCO, Protocon’s mascot, will be issued on MojitoSwap, a KCC(KuCoin Community Chain)-based NFT marketplace.
As some of you may be wondering what KCC is, we’ve prepared a brief introduction for all of you!
What is KCC?
The KuCoin Community Chain (KCC), a high-performance decentralized public chain and a fork of Ethereum, was developed by fan communities of the KuCoin exchange and its native KuCoin Token (KCS). The platform maintains consensus using a system known as ‘Proof-of-Staked-Authority’ or PoSA, just like the BNB chain. It attempts to reduce friction in the crypto space and distinguish itself from other layer-1 blockchains by its high speed, low fees, and direct compatibility with Ethereum and ERC-20 smart contracts.
KCC Chain is built around a single purpose: “To accelerate the flow of value around the world without boundaries.” Now, they are servicing over 10,000,000 wallets all around the world. To trade NFTs on KCC, KCS (KuCoin Token) is used as a fee medium.
