Protofire Partners with ZetaChain to Launch an Omnichain Safe on Testnet

We are pleased to announce the deployment of Safe on ZetaChain, a public, decentralised blockchain and smart contract platform built for omnichain interoperability.

ZetaChain Safe is a smart contract wallet that enforces a minimum quorum for transaction approval. For instance, if your business has three key stakeholders, you can configure the wallet to demand consent from two out of the three or all three individuals before a transaction is executed. This safeguard guarantees that no single person can unilaterally access or control the funds. Furthermore, ZetaChain Safe ensures full self-custody of your assets, and the deployed smart contract operates in a completely trustless manner, free from external control. Its infrastructure aims to improve the security and usability of digital asset wallets.

ZetaChain’s omnichain interoperability allows Safe wallets to manage native assets and data on any blockchain, regardless of its underlying technology or consensus mechanism. This is a significant advantage over traditional wallets, typically limited to supporting a single blockchain.
