Funding the Future of Healthcare — Ep. 10 w/ Bob Kline, CEO at Bolder Surgical

In the tenth episode of our Funding the Future of Healthcare podcast series, we were joined by Bob Kline, who is the Chairman, President, and CEO of Bolder Surgical, and Dave Kereiakes, who is one of Providence Ventures’ newest partners.

In this episode, our host Pat McKay spoke with Bob and Dave to learn more about their backgrounds and career paths in healthcare. We took a chance to elaborate on Bolder Surgical’s role in healthcare, and how it’s innovating the surgical experience for pediatrics and smaller patients — a population with needs that have been underserved in the space. We also touch on how Bolder Surgical’s miniaturized instruments set themselves apart from other solutions in the industry, and how Bob’s team is relentlessly driving innovation for an important class of pediatric surgeons, whose challenges have long been ignored in the industry.

The two went on to dive into the importance of having strategic guidance in healthcare, and how Bolder Surgical is benefitting and taking the next step through its unique partnership with Providence Ventures. Bob and Dave also touched on their relationship throughout this process and shared some advice for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to break into healthcare.
