If you expect Trump to start chairing meetings that deal with complex issues, then I think you’re going to be disappointed.

This Post shows a Remarkable Detachment from Reality

Donald Trump has had a long life in the public eye. In that time he has had multi-day interviews with several journalists. They all agree on a number of points. Trump has no attention span beyond a discussion of his own greatness and, perhaps, women.

Donald Trump has boasted about not reading books. News reports say that he gets his information from the television. Even more than George W. Bush, Trump has boasted about how he makes his decisions on his “gut”.

In short, Donald Trump is someone who makes George W. Bush look like an intellectual. George W. Bush, to his credit, actually had a friendly reading competition with Karl Rove. It’s hard to imagine Trump having a reading competition with Steve Bannon (whose reading list includes books with titles like The Protocols of the Elders of Zion).

Do you really expect that Donald Trump is going to address this complex agenda? Seriously?

Maybe Mike Pence will become a sort of Dick Cheney on steroids and he will address this agenda. But if you expect Trump to start chairing meetings that deal with complex issues, then I think you’re going to be disappointed.

There’s a reason that most of the Republican foreign policy and intelligence establishment publicly stated that Donald Trump is completely unfit to be president of the United States (perhaps you recall the letter that many of them signed?)
