We are looking to expand our team with an additional Associate / Senior Associate to focus on Enterprise IT investments!

About Pruven:
We are an independent venture capital firm, with 10 of the largest incumbents in the Financial Services and Insurance verticals as our Limited Partners (LPs). Our $300M Fund I was raised in Oct 2020 and we have recently raised an oversubscribed $378M Fund II which we will start deploying from in Fall 2024. Our multi-stage funds invest in InsurTech, FinTech, HealthTech, PropTech as well as horizontal enterprise technologies including: AI/ML, Cloud Infrastructure, InfoSecurity, Automation and Digital CX. Pruven’s differentiation lies in being able to leverage its LP base (that collectively represents over $15B in enterprise IT spend annually) to drive first reference customer/partner type of outcomes for our portfolio company founders thereby jumpstarting their GTM. Pruven was founded by a team that has deep domain in the areas we invest in and also an established track record (we previously invested in over 70 companies that became iconic including Square, Docusign, Honey, Plaid, Newfront, Unite Us, Jet.com, Braze, Datarobot, Feedzai, Immuta, Ujet, Temporal, Exabeam, Heptio and Spotnana).

What you’ll be doing:

• Source, screen, evaluate, execute, and manage investments from start to finish
• Write and present investment memos
• Conduct diligence on companies and sharing that diligence in Partner meetings
• Create fundamental research on new markets and industries of investment interest
• Collaborate with startups on key strategic and operational projects to accelerate growth
• Ecosystem development
• Contribute to corporate innovation efforts with our LP base
• Identify and drive commercialization partnerships for portfolio companies with Prudential and other corporate partners
• Supporting the Partners on other firm matters as needed

Experience:

• Deep expertise in Enterprise IT
• 2–6 years of work experience
• Venture Capital / Private Equity experience or experience at a high growth enterprise IT company with demonstrated extensive network of startups required
• Background in engineering or computer science is a plus
