Audrey Mardavich and Yooree Losordo to Serve In New Roles in Support of Radiotopia from PRX, A Podcast Network for Independent Creators

Mardavich will serve as Executive Producer and Losordo as Network Director. Mardavich and Losordo will also manage production of “Radiotopia Presents,” a podcast feed and home for artist-owned limited series

Public media organization PRX today announced Audrey Mardavich and Yooree Losordo will be elevated to new roles as part of Radiotopia, the award-winning podcast network empowering independent creators. Mardavich will serve as the Executive Producer of Radiotopia and Losordo will serve as Radiotopia’s Director of Network Operations. In addition, Mardavich and Losordo will manage production of “Radiotopia Presents,” a podcast feed and home for artist-owned original limited series.

As Executive Producer of Radiotopia from PRX, Mardavich will lead strategic, editorial, and content planning while supporting producers across the network and welcoming new creators. Bolstering Radiotopia as a home for independent podcasters to thrive, Mardavich will also serve a central role in collaborating across PRX departments in order to achieve revenue goals, fundraising goals, and to continue to cultivate an engaged community of listeners. Previously, Mardavich served as Radiotopia’s Senior Director of Content and as co-executive producer of “Radiotopia Presents.” Since 2011, Mardavich has also served roles at PRX including Director of Special Projects, helping to drive initiatives such as the opening of the PRX Podcast Garage in Boston in 2016. Mardavich has also served as a Boston storySLAM producer for “The Moth” and at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.

Losordo will serve as Director of Network Operations. In this role vital to Radiotopia from PRX, Losordo will manage the day-to-day operations of the network while also helping to shape network initiatives and supporting Radiotopia producers and programming. Collaborating across areas including marketing and sponsorship, Losordo will serve as a steward for the network — for example, leading Radiotopia’s Citizen newsletter — while also overseeing production support funds and overall operations. Losordo previously served as Radiotopia’s Network Operations Manager, and as Managing Producer of the TRAX podcast network for tweens. Prior to PRX, Losordo helped launch “When We Fight We Win!: The Podcast” as the founding managing producer, with additional roles spanning arts administration, marketing, and small business.

Both Mardavich and Losordo will also manage production of “Radiotopia Presents,” a podcast feed and home for artist-owned limited series. To date, acclaimed titles released from “Radiotopia Presents” include “My Mother Made Me” from best-selling author Jason Reynolds, “a hit dog will holler” from playwright Inda Craig-Galván, the audio memoir “S***hole Country” from anonymous creator Afia Kaakyire, and “Blind Guy Travels,” inviting listeners to a world without sight. Additional titles will be released in the year ahead.
