Podcast Creator Doug Fraser Launches New Sleep Podcast for Kids “Cozy Critters” in Partnership with PRX
The podcast of calming bedtime adventures is available now across all major podcast platforms and in September on Yoto, the screen-free audio system for kids
Bedtime just got a whole lot cozier with the launch of Cozy Critters, a new podcast designed to make winding down for the night an enchanting experience for kids ages two to seven. Hosted by Dougie Pickles and his adorable kitten co-host, Miss Meow Meow, this ongoing series takes young listeners on soothing bedtime adventures, exploring the world’s coziest critters. It’s an experience parents are calling “literal gold for bedtime.”
Created by podcaster and educator Doug Fraser, Cozy Critters is brought to listeners with public media organization PRX, one of the world’s top podcast distributors. PRX also serves as a distribution partner to beloved podcasts for children from PBS KIDS, GBH Kids, and the WNET Group.
Cozy Critters is available now free on-demand across all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Spotify, Pocket Casts, and Overcast. New episodes will be released weekly on Mondays. In September, the podcast will also be available on Yoto, the screen-free audio player that puts kids safely in control of their listening, learning, and play.

Along the way, kids will enjoy calming soundscapes, intriguing animal insights and guided breathing exercises to help unwind and drift into a peaceful sleep. It’s an imaginative, educational, and family-friendly bedtime adventure to the coziest corners of the animal kingdom.
Fraser voices the character of host Dougie Pickles and interprets Miss Meow Meow for the audience.
