Nonprofit public media organization PRX — one of the world’s top podcast publishers and public radio distributors — today announced it will convene the second Podcast Creator Summit in Atlanta, Georgia over three days, from June 26–28.

In addition, creators interested in pursuing podcasting as a career are encouraged to apply for a free creative design workshop focused on developing original audience-centered audio from scratch.

The Podcast Creator Summit aims to be a supportive space for podcasters early on in their journeys who are seeking a robust creative community. It will be held in partnership with WABE public media and with the community-centered co-working space Plywood Place, which will also serve as the event venue.

Among others, speakers and session leaders will include:

  • WABE VP of Audio Scotty Crowe
  • Pineapple Street Studios SVP Je-Anne Berry
  • Sean Powers and Dina Temple-Raston of the award-winning tech podcast Click Here from Recorded Future News
  • Kacie (Willis) Luaders, founder of Could Be Pretty Cool, a data-driven platform that empowers artists through podcasting

Additional speakers and session leaders will be added ahead of the summit. Register for free events here. Sign up here for updates.
