PRX Welcomes Rachel Poulos as Director of Audience Growth and Marketing

With deep podcast and digital marketing experience, Poulos previously served as Group Account Director at the award-winning global agency Brainlabs

2022 Pulitzer Prize-winning public media organization PRX today announced Rachel Poulos has joined the staff. Beginning today, Poulos will serve as Director of Audience Growth and Marketing.

Poulos joins the marketing team with a focus on audience development, responsible for audience growth components of podcasts distributed by PRX, including the highly acclaimed Radiotopia podcast network and those made by award-winning independent creators, such as TED, GBH in Boston, and PRX Productions. Collaborating across the organization, at PRX, Poulos will expand and manage integrated both digital and multi-channel podcast marketing strategies, audience acquisition tactics, and show growth.

An experienced marketer, Poulos joins PRX after serving as Group Account Director at Brainlabs, an award-winning global marketing agency. There, Poulos planned and launched digital campaigns to help drive awareness and listenership for a variety of clients, including NPR and podcasts and programming across news, culture, and entertainment, including “It’s Been A Minute,” “The Indicator from Planet Money,” “Consider This,” and “Tiny Desk Concerts.” Previously, Poulos served in marketing roles at a technology-driven consumer service company Progrexion and at SEO.com.

Poulos’ arrival at PRX follows Jon Peck, recently announced as Senior Director of Broadcast and Podcast Marketing.
