The Breeding of Fools

A Poem: Just Some of the Pain of Patriarchy

Is it any wonder that the world has begun
To refer to God as a “she”?

We have bred fools in place of men.
For when a man sways slightly to the right
We crown him King
And he believes it

Never mind the fine crafting of character
That comes with time, perseverance, and commitment
That’s woman’s play

No, a man’s job is to hold his head high
And receive the glory of the world…

FOOL!

Enjoy it now, surrounded by riches,
Holding the power of the earth…stolen booty

For the day will come
When you will be found naked,
Left only with your own pathetic, anemic being.
