Where is Peace?

For those left behind,
ㅤ where is peace?
For those who have lost their love,
ㅤ where is peace?
For the sad and weary and lonely,
ㅤ where is peace?
For those brokenhearted with loss,
ㅤ where is peace?

There is no peace here.
No peace for those who mourn.
No relief,
ㅤ no true relief on this earth.
Only the shadow of the past,
ㅤ a bittersweet reminder.
But to the past there is no return.

When the present holds no peace,
ㅤ only hope remains.
The hope of the future.
The hope of eternity.
The hope of a glorious reunion.

Lord, today I mourn the past.
In the pain of the present, I mourn.
But in you Lord, I have hope.
I have your promise.
I have your word.
So Lord, today, even in my mourning,
ㅤ I celebrate my hope in you.
Today Lord, I find peace in you.
