Psychology of Workplaces (PoW) is excited to announce that it’s open for business and interested in what you have to say or, in this case, write. Here is the official announcement 🥳

I am fascinated by the interplay of personalities in traditional office settings, the power dynamics that shape behavior, and the unspoken rules that influence our daily work lives. Hence, my background in psychology, counseling, and educational leadership.

Those who prioritize relationships over being task-oriented and efficient in the workplace, or vice versa, can be perplexing. It can be frustrating to encounter situations where there is a need for greater alignment between the effectiveness of actions and the policies implemented. When leadership becomes misguided, morale and performance take a hit.

We’ve all been there — Haven’t we?

Many people struggle with work, and it can have negative consequences on physical and mental health. The goal of PoW is to discuss our experiences and find ways to create healthier work environments.
