PsyOptions Bi Weekly Update

As most of you know, we launched PsyOptions on mainnet! We’re excited to be the first options platform on Solana, but we don’t rest on our laurels over here. The dream of PsyOptions becoming one of the foundational DeFi primitives on Solana won’t come easy, and while we’re happy to have deployed to mainnet, we’re even happier to continue the pursuit of this dream.

We have lift off!

Product Updates

This week we plan on adding more strikes for you all to trade, as we are fully aware that the current selection is limited to say the least. This will give you all some more flexibility in regards to what you can do on PsyOptions. Whether you’re simply hedging, or yoloing some calls is up to you. We’re also planning on releasing the initialize page during this sprint. There’s been a few UX pain points we’ve been smoothing out, and once we get these fixed you’ll be able initialize markets for whatever asset you have in mind. Tracking your PnL is a crucial part of trading, and we’re working on bringing that functionality to PsyOptions soon as well! And for those of you wondering “wen token” make sure to check out our project roadmap!

Community Updates

On the community side of things, we have an exciting Twitter space scheduled for you all to listen in on. On August 25th at 8pm ET, we’ll be hosting a space alongside Boring Protocol, and we’ll have Brett Harrison the President of FTX US, as well as Dan and Brian from CMS Holdings on as guests! We’re also planning on setting up another PsyOptions space with our dev team to discuss the technical side of things, and we should have a date/time set shortly. If you want to get ahead of the curve, we highly recommend you check out our documentation on what’s happening under the hood of PsyOptions v1.

We’re also eager to hear what you all have in mind for the direction PsyOptions should head in the future, so make sure to check out our forum! Every topic is worth discussing, so don’t be shy, write up a proposal!

To stay on top of things in between updates, make sure to follow us on Twitter, and join our Discord and Telegram servers!
