Day 9: Quiet Space

There are some activities that provide momentary respite from the anxiety and ‘noise’ that those with PTSD experience. I have been told many times that riding a motorcycle is one of those activities. This is something I understand in some way. Some of the best times have been alone in my helmet on the open road. The fresh air, sights and smells. Alone, not lonely, and free to go where I want. There is something blissful about a long stretch of open road. An escape from everything. I get it.

Who cares where?!

Today is the 6th Anniversary of returning from my first Black Dog Ride to the red center of Australia. It was an epic journey with memories I shall never forget.
