Uruganda Economic Model proposal

An Economic model for an advanced civilization… A moneyless economy, Trade-less, Market-less, and like, economic model. The same should be established in order to give its subjects precious time for them to work, instead of on, acquiring money for rent, food, clothes, health, etc., on things like exploration, philosophy, artistry, innovation, engineering, and like.

Uruganda System

• In an Uruganda Economic System, there is no currency, no buying or selling goods with money…

• Except perhaps the subjects of the system trading with outside markets for things they don’t already have.

• Within this system, the subjects manufacture, build, farm, and produce everything they need…

  • They mine whatever minerals they have, refine as needed, and manufacture whatever goods needed.
  • They cultivate trees for house building, mine lime stone and like to make cement for roads, housing, etc..
  • They farm and produce their own groceries, process and refine them..

Uruganda System… Continued

• They make and maintain their own warehouses, processing mills, production machineries, etc..

• After building the warehouses as needed, they hand build the relevant machinery for the appropriate agro- and other-Processing Mills..

• They mine or trade with neighbors for minerals necessary to build particular machinery, process them, and manufacture whatever machinery they need…

• They trade with neighbors in goods instead of currency

Uruganda Stores

• After processing and producing all the needed goods, the subjects, after hand-building stores, they bring the goods into the several stores for consumption…

  • All the Participants of the System have a card, or like, which identifies them as subjects of the system, therefore, eligible to pick whatever they want from the store completely without need for trade or currency…
  • After shopping for whatever they want, if there are other things they wish for that they don’t see in the store, they fill out a form, detailing the product’s details, and submit it to the store to order it…
  • The store then submits it to the system for order…
  • After enough number of people order the same thing, the system can then make its ingredients available for the next production…
  • After the warehouses produce it, it is made available to the stores, for consumption.. And every individual who has requested it, is notified of its availability..

Uruganda Farming

  • The Subjects of this system cultivate in one land..
  • If they need cabbage, beans, Maize, etc, they set aside a piece of land dedicated to the same, and assign workers, most familiar with the same, and are answerable to a committee that oversees the like products..

Uruganda Staffing

• Subjects of Uruganda are individuals who have all agreed to work together, produce and consume together…

• Towards this, they, establish bodies to oversee several of their creations…

  • They form a body to oversee Lands meant for farming and other uses..
  • And sub-bodies to oversee particular farming products like tomatoes, sugar cane, plantain, etc..

• These bodies then oversee proper cultivation of their assigned products…

• Every farming cycle, they rotate, one takes over a particular assignment for that cycle, then on the next cycle, he or she is assigned a different work, and so on…

Uruganda Staffing Continued

• In a system that has, say, 30 subjects,

Presidency | Rwanda‏Verified account @UrugwiroVillage 25 Aug 2018 .. This morning, President Kagame pledged 5 million RWF for the construction of Groupe Scolaire of Kimironko being built as part of Umuganda and with a deadline of six months to be completed. The school is home to over 1,000 school children. #Umuganda
  • 10 oversee farming,
  • 8 oversee warehousing and processing mills,
  • 6, mining and like..
  • 2, transportation of goods from farms, mining, warehouses, to stores, and as arises..
  • 2, the several food, resources, and other stores
  • 2, the proper governing of the system…

• Occasionally, the 30 subjects meet and discuss the several issues that challenge them, and reach solutions, which they implement immediately…

• Each cycle, they rotate positions…

** • The individuals who oversee farming, in the next cycle, are assigned mining… those in governing, are assigned to transportation, and so on..

Similar concepts

• During research on this issue, I came across two similar ideas; Paradism and Ubuntu Communities…

  • Paradism seems to be essentially about finding a way to make technology work for human beings, literally…
  • Umuganda/Isarongo — A cultural phenomenon practiced in and around the East African country of Rwanda, where, villages and communities, and the national at large, when there is an issue in the community, gather and work together to fix it… If a house in the village burns or such disaster happens, the entire village gathers to rebuild it.
  • Ubuntu seems to be about gathering given community of people together, work together, produce goods together, process foods together, and at the end, share the proceeds…
  • The whole concept of Uruganda asserts that the current civilization is not utilizing the potential of a the human mind… therefore, this concept establishes a set of ideas about what civilization and society can do to begin to find, realize, and utilize and deploy this human potential..
  • These ideas have set that in order for civilization to adhere to their principles, society has to establish means through which human beings can cease having to work for money in order to live.. More on this below…
  • And yet, it is necessary that human beings work for money or like, in order to support themselves and their dependents..
  • So, the Uruganda System seeks ways to pay for these ideas… and Umuganda, Paradism, and Ubuntu seem to be the only ideas I came accross to have the potential to pay for these Ideas..

• So, Human beings instead being confining themselves to working for rent, groceries, clothes, and like… These kinds of work while they may help an individual now, they do nothing for society, and yet, the condition of society is of concern to the individual… So Uruganda, asserts that these kinds of work, are below the production capacity of a human being to civilization...

Similar Concept continued…

  • A person who could be figuring out solutions to climate change, is too busy working to keep up with mortgage payments or such socially useless work…
  • Uruganda concept has to do with an idea that, what should keep a human being busy is working on things like Exploration, Philosophy, Art, Innovation, Engineering, and just such societally vital works..
  • It’s a concept that fully advances the thought, that, civilizations that die out, the only things they leave behind are things they have learned about the universe or reality, human nature, or like… So any civilization that devotes its workers on trivial things that are irrelevant to reality, the universe, etc, is doomed to extinction…
  • So, Uruganda, works to theorize that, seeking to understand and studying reality and the universe; observing and interpreting the same; Expressing your understanding of the same; and through this understanding and others, introducing new ways and methods to approach reality and the universe; and from the same ways and methods, develop genuine crafts to apply to normal every day life…
  • These are the things that should occupy the time and space in a mind of a human being..
  • But with today’s reality, a human being’s time consists of only the thoughts of how to accumulate money, with absolutely no regard or time for any of these things mentioned above…

Uruganda Concept

  • So,Uruganda looks to foster the following five artifacts, Exploration, Philosophy, Artistry, Innovation, and Engineering, as instruments to advance civilization, and should be referred to as Civilizational Advancement Instruments (CAI) or Methods to Advance Civilization (MAC)
  • Therefore, if a human being’s time is better spent seeking to understand and studying reality and the Universe, Observing and interpreting the same, expressing the understanding of the same, and working to advance the human approach to the same, if these are really what should keep a human being busy, what of eating, clothing, housing, energy, etc, what does a human being do for that… So drawing from a phenomenon of an East African culture referred to as Isarongo or Umuganda, I found that individuals can form groups of people and do the work that is necessary in that village or community or city, or even nation…
  • This Umugand phenomenon is practiced in Rwanda, in Northern Congo, Burundi and some parts of Uganda, and basically within the circumference of the Rwandan region… It’s a a phenomena where people from a given village go and help someone who is in need or where the organized authority there requests a particular work to be done in the community, like fixing road issues, building water projects, schools, etc and the whole village would show up and work in tandem to resolve that issue… and it’s a cultural phenomenon and not really a legal instrument.
  • So, drawing from this, I questioned why wouldn’t the same concept be applied instead of on extraordinary community issues, but also to this Concept of Uruganda… Basically a way to fund Uruganda.

This proposal on a better and ultimately advanced economic model than capitalism or communism… is to be continued,
