Publica and KuCoin
Due to recent questions regarding Publica’s listing on KuCoin, we would like to share the project’s official position to prevent any potential misunderstandings or misinterpretation.
Publica was listed on KuCoin exchange on December 7, 2017, and the team was pleased to work with KuCoin exchange up until the point of de-listing. Our partnership had no issues and we thank KuCoin for their services.
In August 2018 the project was informed that the PBL tokens were placed under the “Special Treatment” status on KuCoin exchange. The project was not contacted by KuCoin representatives regarding any sort of deals regarding volume increasing or any other deals for that matter. We have not engaged in any negotiations regarding such matters. The only communication that was ongoing between the project and KuCoin exchange representatives was related to clarifying terms of Special Treatment status.
As it was previously announced, PBL token was delisted from KuCoin exchange on November 22, 2018. As KuCoin team explained, the decision to delist the token was due to insufficient volume and since then there has been no communication with KuCoin.
Recently Publica was contacted by an online media representative and asked to provide the projects official statement about the listing situation. The team refused to provide any comments and will not provide any statements further due to the non-disclosure agreement (NDA), that was signed by Publica and KuCoin prior to the listing.
The team wants to emphasize that we never disclosed and will not disclose any existing or future partnership’s details, thus we refused to provide any comments regarding Publica’s listing on KuCoin.
As a reminder from KuCoin on the de-listed currencies: ”withdrawals of the affected cryptocurrencies will continue to be supported until March 21st, 2019, 6pm (UTC + 8). Users are advised to plan ahead of time by withdrawing the affected coins before the March deadline.”
