Weekly updates — July 6
This week Publica has reached another significant milestone and we are happy sharing what's been happening.
The first book crowdfunded in Publica’s Book ICO is now published!
The most exciting news this week is that Publica now has the first successful use case of a Book ICO from start to finish.
With the publishing of Matthew Kepnes' book “Nomadic Matt's Guide to Backpacking Europe” on July 5th, the full “rotation” has been completed. From running an ICO to fund a book to the delivery of the finished product!
The owners of their BOOK tokens can now access the book on Publica’s eReader app and in addition can send the book to someone else.
This provides both early access and an exclusive edition to the owners of the book and we hope the readers are just as excited about this as we are.
