Things to Do at Our Libraries (February 2021)
As we gear up to take on the new year, striking a balance between work and play will keep your mind sharp and your focus tight. Seize the day by all means, but also find time to appreciate the small things. This February, we bring you programmes that teach you how to get better sleep, how to appreciate and preserve nature for future generations to enjoy, and how to make use of music — an overlooked component in videos — to tell better stories.

Why Do Our Everyday Actions Matter in 2021 and Beyond? — WWF Explains
20 February 2021 (Sat)
2.00 pm to 3.30 pm
Sustainability is about the environmental, social and economic considerations of what we do in our personal lives, the way we do business, and our governmental policies.
Living a sustainable lifestyle is no longer a “nice to have”, but an important habit we all need to start practising each day. The end goal is so that we can sustain the natural systems (such as food, air, and water) that every single living thing on Earth needs to survive and thrive.
About WWF Explains
WWF Explains aims to highlight the unexpected links between the daily concerns of Singaporeans and the environment around us. By connecting you with conservation experts, we hope to start conversations around global environmental issues.
To participate, register here for the in-person session held at the Central Public Library.
