Wondering how to improve your life, but not sure where to begin? This March, we bring you a slew of programmes to help you get started: learn how you can make mealtimes an enjoyable family experience for your children, go about adopting a pet, and automate your life with Python code.

Creating Positive Mealtimes for Young Children | Zoom

6 March 2021 (Sat)
11.00 am to 12.30 pm

Mealtimes, an enjoyable daily routine for many, can be a challenge for families with young children. Join us as we discuss strategies to make mealtimes an enjoyable family experience for children 6 months old to preschoolers. Gain insights on how you can support your children by structuring meal times, provide appropriate reinforcement for eating well, and develop their understanding about food and eating. In addition, learn to recognise signs of feeding or eating difficulties that might require professional support.

ProTips for Using TraceTogether App — Time of Your Life | Zoom

30 March 2021 (Tue)
3.00 pm to 4.30 pm

Did you know that there are new features in the TraceTogether app that allow you to:

  • Create a SafeEntry shortcut on your mobile phone home screen so that you can eliminate the hassle of opening the TraceTogether app and then tapping on the “Scan QR” button?
  • Check in together with your family members?
  • Favourite a place that you visit often and check in immediately?
  • Check in and out of SafeEntry venues more quickly with Siri or BackTap shortcuts on your iPhone (available only on iPhone 8 and above, installed with the latest iOS 14 software update)?
  • Check your history for possible exposures?

Learn how to do all of the above, and more, at this workshop as librarian Hwee Fang demonstrates how to navigate the app and use these enhanced features.

This programme is suitable for those aged 50 and above.
