I love reading. And while I normally avoid reviewing bad books, I need to make an exception. Some self-help books are boring, cringe-worthy, and should be avoided at all costs.

Here are five examples:

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Let me save you ten bucks by summarizing the entire book.

When you buy something, it should put money in your bank account. Otherwise, it’s a liability. For example, a new laptop might help you to make more money. But spending $100 on drinks at a bar is pointless.

That’s it. The rest of the book is filled with repetitive advice. So, if you want to save yourself several hours of agony, skip this book & read something else!
