No Pyramid. No Scam. This is the Real Deal.

Clearly, our culture has placed an emphasis on wealth. If we didn’t, nearly every reality show would fold in an instant. We wouldn’t have so many people eager to publicly embarrass themselves for the shot at celebrity and a windfall of cash. The lottery also wouldn’t be as well-funded.

So, we must think that money buys some happiness. It certainly is preferable to poverty. Most of us can probably list a dozen problems off the top of our heads that money would solve.

Get-rich-quick schemes abound in our culture. Every direct sales company will tell you of the potential wealth involved if you just sign up to be a consultant. The corporate ladder is built on rungs made of little more than status and grasping for a larger salary and more security. Reality show contestants are willing to fake fights, relationships, and put themselves through ritual humiliation for just a chance at perceived success and the wealth that comes with it.
