Praise seems like a bribe,
To get a good gift.
Worship seems like the prize,
For a good soul lift.
To my humane mind, I’m a buyer.
When my soul, spirit and body merge,
I dance in the arena of your presence.
My Spirit commands a perfect mutiny against my body and soul.
A marriage of Spirits
Pulls them into oneness.
The incomprehensible can suddenly be touched.
The unfathomable, a sea of knowledge.
Eyes become misty.
Mind becomes cloudy.
The throat chokes.
Body, mind, soul and spirit.
Merge into one understanding.
Surely it’s not a bribe.
Let praise be an acknowledgement
Worship an invitation
To the throne of peace.
