Have you ever noticed how little things can sometimes push our buttons, while at other times, we breeze right past life’s minor annoyances?

We’ve all been there in moments when expectations don’t match reality or the frustrations of everyday miscommunications. There’s usually a good story when something rattles us and, just as importantly, why it matters.

I recently submitted a piece to somewhere and was shocked by how the editors treated writers. I try not to get upset about these things and enjoy the experience wherever I go, but this interaction really got under my skin.

I wrote about it, as writers often write about what ticks them off. Obviously, it’s not on Publishous because, being in the lifestyle lane, we don’t accept writing pieces. I'm curious what you think about this.

For every pet peeve, there’s a positive counterbalance. At least, I’m trying to put a positive spin on my outlook.

Maybe I’m bracing myself for Day 1 of life after the election and hoping that we survive as a country. Perhaps you can share ideas on turning challenges into growth, reducing stress, or finding humor in the small inconveniences that life inevitably throws our way.
