Or, it might be that you are off the platform altogether and are simply looking to read a bit more this year— which is probably the better place to be.
Although the popularity of reading challenges has boomed in the past few years with the rise of BookTok and Bookstagram tend to favour quantity of books read over quantity, don’t let yourself get swept up in the idea that numbers mean everything.
I read 102 books in 2024, and in honesty, I don’t think it did me any good. Sure, I made a significant dent in my TBR pile and had a good time, but can I remember details about every book I read, or even remember why I liked the ones that I did?
