I Prejudged a Homeless Person and Minutes Later He Shocked Me

You’ve probably seen a homeless person on the street. Or maybe they’re at a local store you visit.
Last year, there were about 653,104 homeless people on the street in the United States. That is a lot of people.
It’s sad people end up on the street for whatever reason. I’m sure most don’t wake up one day and say I’m going to be homeless, today.
Many times, events in their life put them on the street. My dad was one of them which I’ll mention later on.
Every person can become homeless. It doesn’t matter if they are White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or Hispanic. Homelessness affects everyone.
The same is true for veterans who served in the military.
Homelessness doesn’t pick one person. It picks anyone.
Yesterday, I went shopping. I normally shop and buy things for the house.
You know, the usual items — fruit, milk, eggs, vegetables, cleaning supplies, and so on.
Before I walked into the supermarket, I saw a homeless person sitting on a bench.
