Millions of people visit London every year.

It’s a city that’s steeped in the kind of character and charisma that very few places in the world will give you.

But I went woefully underprepared. I was in culture shock for a good few weeks after getting there.

I wish someone had told me these things about London before I visited.

#1 Everywhere is beautiful

This was the first image I clicked in the city.

Normally, you have to make a city look aesthetic in pictures. Like — sure many cities have breathtaking beauty but only if you show the good parts, you know?

London is different.

You can just open your phone camera, click a random picture to show someone where you are and they’ll be blown away by how good the city looks.

Everywhere you look, you’ll see aesthetic beauty.

#2 Most people look good

Brits are known to be incredibly well-dressed.

But London takes it a notch higher.
