I Stopped Focusing On Short-Term Gains, And I’m More Productive

If there is one thing we should reflect on, it is our obsession with short-term results over long-term gains.

I have never stepped foot in a Tony Robbins seminar, but I’ve read how incredible they can be.

The roaring of the crowd, the dancing that follows after. It all feels incredible to be there and listen to people speak.

But unlike those who describe a Robbins’ seminar with awe and wonder, I will likely never attend one in my life.

Not because the ticket prices are absurd — even though they kinda are — but because of what Robbins represents.

He’s at the top of the industry, the prime example of what a guru should be. Yet, I see several flaws that cannot be ignored.

The fact that his events are behind closed doors with no recording allowed at all feels sketchy. It’s the same kind of vibes that a sexual predator would give off.

Not to mention any serious allegations leave Robbins in a morally grey area as a man who brands himself as wanting to help people.

But, the other reason has to do with his methods specifically.

I write (and sometimes do videos) about self-help for those who don't like self-help. Complete with the occasional memes and riffs on the industry that I love.
