My Dreams Are The Problem
All the things that terrify me…
It’s been two weeks or so since my last article.
Forgive me, I’ve been working on an exciting new commission, and creativity has taught me that sometimes you need to drop everything you’re doing to get some actual work done.
All that being said, this new project has me thinking about my dreams.
I try not to think about them often (you’ll see why in a bit).
I don’t open up here about myself as much as I’d like, so I might as well share my ambitious, terrifying dreams with you and how I feel about them.
For anyone who cares:
I’m a big dreamer:
I want to be a world-renowned, in-demand composer for film and contemporary concert music.
I want to build a massive personal brand centered around creativity, inspiring legions of creatives to pursue their dreams.
I want to form a community that supports me in whatever I do (whether music/writing) because they like me for me.
I want to be an accomplished fiction author. More specifically, I want to write an epic fantasy book series on par with GoT or LotR, complete with its own history, languages, cultures/races, kingdoms, religions, power/magic…
