Thoughts filter through my mind
Watching morning sun take hold
Thoughts of places faraway,
Dazzling sparkling ocean surface
Refracting early morning lights.

Soaring gulls dive into surf
Searching for easy prey to eat
Then soaring back to higher flight,
Early morning’s ocean creatures
Repeating cycles throughout time.
