There are so many things you want to do each week, but only a few will really push you forward. So if you don’t have a routine, you let the world dictate your future.

Life has so many variables that pull you in one direction or another. It is easy to follow the crowd and get distracted from your own purpose.

Coming from a military background, I had years to follow a plan. The Army plans weeks and months in advance. So you knew what was coming up between now and the upcoming event which was weeks away.

Planning has become ingrained in me.

Even though the Army had big-picture ideas, as a soldier, you also had to chart out your own path.
