During my first 100-mile race around mile 41, my body started rejecting everything I put in it. Take a sip of water, bend over and let it out. Try a little bit of a nutrition gel, same result. As I pulled into the 50 mile turn around my wife was waiting and I told her that I just needed to lie down for a minute and try to get something in my body that would stay down.
