I’ve spent a combined four years outside of the U.S., and that number just keeps growing. All I wanted to do in my twenties was travel, and travel I did.

I’ve sat in medicine ceremonies with Shamans in Ecuador, surfed in Costa Rica, played with monkeys in Bali, and danced salsa in Colombia.

When I started traveling, there wasn’t a wealth of resources for freelancers and digital nomads like what’s popped up in recent years. I’m blown away by what’s out there now.

In my most recent adventure, I spent a little over two years on the road. I uncovered some pretty sweet stuff from talking to other travelers during that time. Below are my six favorites.
