Astonishment over AI quality at Reddit
Users at Reddit recently spent a lot of time discussing the increasingly high quality of AI-generated images.
Specifically, in the ChatGPT subreddit, one user posted images of a woman that had been generated with AI, and titled the thread “We Are Doomed.” The discussion focused on the growing impossibility of telling which images have been created by chatbots and other tools, and featured conjecture on what such images would do to online dating apps and sites like OnlyFans.
The images in question were originally created by another user at Reddit, who posted them and asked for feedback on the quality of the images.
