Most business books are overrated.

Authors will tell you to hustle 24/7, think outside the box, and build a multi-million dollar company. After all, you’re a loser if you make less than $500,000 per year. Or, at least, that’s what some people on Twitter want you to believe.

99% of advice in business books is BS. It’s also unrealistic and not applicable to the vast majority of people. But thankfully, Anything You Want by Derek Sivers is completely different. In fact, it’s the best book about entrepreneurship I’ve ever read.

What’s The Book About?

Here’s the Goodreads description:

“Derek Sivers details his journey and the lessons learned along the way of creating CD Baby and building a business close to his heart. His less-scripted approach to business is refreshing and will educate readers to feel empowered to follow their own dreams. Aspiring entrepreneurs and others trying to make their own way will be particularly comforted by Sivers straight talk and transparency -a reminder that anything you want is within your reach.”

Anything You Want is one of the best business books of all time. I even found it more useful than Atomic Habits, The Four-Hour…
