Who among us has not discovered, one day, a person we thought we were friends with, who seemed to turn, seemed to be not a friend? Who hasn’t said, through tears, “I thought he was my friend”?
We count people among our friends, and counting friends may be where the trouble begins with friends: It’s not about the accumulation.
