What Are You Grateful For?
Stop and take note.
It’s easy to get swept up in the highs and lows of seasons—they can feel like they hold the keys to our future, our families, and everything that matters. It’s easy to rush past the small moments that bring us joy. Today, I want to take a pause and share a few things I’m truly grateful for—and perhaps inspire you to do the same.
First and foremost, people. Our neighbors, family, friends — these are the relationships that truly shape our lives. No matter who’s in office, we’re still here for each other. The people who look out for us in times of need, who cheer us on, and even challenge us when we need a nudge — those bonds can’t be influenced by any election. It’s those relationships, built on compassion and trust, that are really the foundation of a meaningful life. Let’s continue to invest in them.
I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude lately, and not just for the usual things like family, health, or sunny days (though those are great, too). I’m talking about the weird, unexpected stuff that often goes unnoticed.
Like the way a stranger holds the door just long enough for you to get through without rushing. Or how your favorite song plays on shuffle exactly when you need it most. I’m grateful for moments like these — small but strangely perfect.
