We’ve all been there — standing at a crossroads where one path feels easy, tempting, and fast while the other is rough, uphill, and full of challenges. It’s human nature to want to take the smooth road. But what if the smooth road isn’t the right one?

At some time or other, you’ve likely stood at this crossroads.

What did you do?

Well, it seems MPP is standing at a crossroads, too.

Since we’ve been a boost partner, we’ve always only nominated Publishous stories that we feel are of the highest quality. It seems other pubs don’t do this. When we were onboarded, the suggestion to nominate stories seemed to be from your own publication.

Perhaps that wasn’t always true or wasn’t true for the earliest adopters in the program.

But, it seemed that we would all be operating under this expectation soon. And, now, that has changed.

We expect changes with MPP, as the program is fluid. But, apparently, so many publications are nominating stories outside their publications, and they are upset income is down that the expectation will hold until some future time.

It seems disingenuous to me to be a partner and nominate stories outside my publication…
