Bloggers, Vloggers and Writers all get the opportunity to hit publish on their work. It’s a subtle button you can hit and is often green in color.

It seems like a button that carries enormous baggage that we refuse to ever voice our concerns about. We pretend we are hitting the publish button more than we really are. Ignoring the publish button is an activity that carries no weight or importance.

“It’s not the publish button. What’s the god damn publish button got to do with anything?”

After all these years as a writer, all I know is this: the publish button is a differentiator.

The publish button is a class system we didn’t know we were being sorted into.
