This is a compilation of organizations where your contributions will immediately impact communities in need in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria.
There are a lot of active organizations fundraising to help Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, but it’s very difficult to navigate through so much information. After scouring through many initiatives, I’ve come up with this list where I believe our contributions will have real impact on the current situation. Our contributions should be going towards local grassroots initiatives with long-standing reputations for serving vulnerable communities. This is my attempt to compile some of those local organizations.
*** I will try to keep this list updated with what I believe are trustworthy initiatives. ***
