Special Incentives for Puffer Node Operators

As part of our Mainnet launch campaign, Puffer offers special incentives designed to enhance the value and appeal of joining us during this pivotal phase:

Default Points:

• Holding 1 ETH worth of pufETH in your wallet earns you 30 points per hour, which is the current standard.
• Holding 1 Validator Ticket (VT) in your wallet earns you 0.1 points per hour, slightly better than holding pufETH given their cost.

Upon Registration:

• When a NoOp registers their validator, they transfer ownership of 2 ETH worth of pufETH and at least 28 VTs to the PufferProtocol contract.

Starting from that block number, validators begin earning:

• 3x boost for pufETH: 3x * 30 points/hour * 2 ETH = 180 points/hour
• 3x boost for VTs: 3x * 0.1 points/hour * 28 VTs = 8.4 points/hour

These incentives significantly amplify earning potential and underscore our commitment to rewarding active participation and contribution within the Puffer ecosystem. Also, NoOps can leverage Restaking Rewards from EigenLayer’s AVSs to enhance their earning potential significantly beyond traditional staking rewards.
