Moody wavy indie punk | Lowfaith

Nu goth rockers and bored pop punk kids take notice; Lowfaith are nigh with the kind of swirly post-election nihilism we all need right now. Straight from Fort Collins Rock City USA, Lowfaith’s particular brand of shoegaze-inspired, nightmare-inducing post punk is the stuff unsettling dreams are made of. The three tracks from their newest Juice Church Demos, with all their glorious squelch, hazy soundscapes and yowling vocal incantations, are a mere tease. We need more!

Experimental Chillwave party starters | Rade

So you’re having some people over, nothing crazy, and you need some music to keep the vibe chill but upbeat? Then you, my friend, need The Hisinger from Denver’s Rade. For only one paltry US dollar, Rade can transport your so-so gathering of friends into a chill dance party with deep bass beats that knock, electronica-inspired tones that are so hot they’re smokin’, and an eclectic mixdown that keeps the beat constantly moving in the right direction. Major snaps.

Shimmery Western Dream-Pop | A Calling West

Space for Echoes from Boulder’s A Calling West rings out with a subtle, yet powerful collection of Americana-inspired indie rock tracks. Ghosts of quiet indie acts like the Ride and Mojave 3 intermingle at a loud party with alt-country heroes like the Uncle Tupelo and the criminally underrated Flying Burrito Brothers to form a lean, mean 7 tracks of indie music perfect for a long car ride.

Intimate Lo-fi Folk | The Brightest Quasar

Taking aural cues from the great quieter folk artists like Nick Drake and Elliott Smith, Keeping the Aspidistra Flying, just released last month from Pueblo’s The Brightest Quasar, radiates and hums with a beautiful lo-fi indie folk that sparkles so warm and softly it feels like you’re with a friend confessing their secrets in song right there in the room with you. KtAF is the perfect soundtrack to a rainy day spent at home or for anyone needing to unwind. Astounding.

We wanna hear your new music. Seriously. We ❤ new music! No matter the genre, drop us a link at editor@pueblopulp.com so we can get our fix!
