This summer the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo, Colorado will host Adams’ collection. Starting June 4 and running until September 25, 2016, the exhibition will feature 72 works from the iconic American West photographer. The exhibit will coincide with the National Parks Service’s 100th anniversary and it will explore Ansel Adams’ role in capturing the American West which fostered a new American spirit of wilderness protection and conservation.

Every month, PULP Newsmagazine features some of the best historical (and some that are more current) photographs of the Southern Rockies and Western Plains.

We encourage historical societies, museums and libraries all across Colorado to contact us if they would like us to feature photos from their collections. Email us at editor@pueblopulp.com for more information.
