Colorado Congressman Scott Tipton is hitting to Southern Colorado communities for town halls in the next week.

On April 18 Tipton will be in Alamosa to talk to constituents from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. On April 20, the congressman will be at Pueblo West High School from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Earlier this month Tipton held a town hall in Montrose, on Colorado’s Western Slope, which is also a part of the 3rd Congressional District.

These town halls are the first of a series throughout the spring and summer, Tipton says on his website.

Congressional House members are currently on recess, but are still working on a healthcare repeal plan, according to reporting from the Associated Press.

During a teletownhall earlier this year Tipton said he is for repealing the Obama Administration’s Affordable Care Act, but won’t vote for “just any replacement.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the Republcian’s Obamacare replacement bill just before members were set to vote in late March.
