If They Can Make You Rich, They Can Make You Come

Dear Pulpistx,

Happy November! By the time you read this, I’ll have already gone to my pal Hilda‘s annual Halloween party dressed like a Chia Pet, which, to be real, I chose as a costume because I saw a pit bull dressed as the same. I said to myself, “Self, that’s a mighty fine idea.” And so it was.

The low cost and ease of making the costume had something to do with it as well. No one needs October to be more complicated than it already is.

Here in California, we’re struggling with what have become annual fires, toxic air days, and rolling power outages. On a personal level, I’m also deeply worried about what’s happening back home in my Chile, where I’m simultaneously worried about my family and proud of the people taking a stand against one of the most unequal wealth divides in the world. It’s quite a world we live in, pals.

It’s also a beautiful one. The leaves are garnet red and burnt orange and ochre yellow. Young people all over the world are fighting back. And our extraordinarily talented writers are, once again, bringing you a week full of tender, necessary, brilliant words, to help celebrate the gorgeousness of life — and to ease the times when life feels just a little jagged.

In solidarity and sweetness,

July (+Katie)

7 Sex Moves For Halloween 2019 That Feel Scarily Spooktacular, ANNOTATED

This piece…explores the zany underworld of spooky sex moves — which is woefully underrepresented. Or it would, if it weren’t scathing satire, written from the perspective of an editor at the Daily Elite.

“Everyone keeps me asking me, “what’s it like working as an editor for the ULTIMATE DIGITAL DESTINATION for Millennial women?!”, so today, I’m finally letting the cat out of the bag and showing you how the spooky sausage is made.

*Cue the laughter of madness*”

“Brief History Of My Body”

“Annie gets into the shower and her mom slips into the room and tells me that my comments made her daughter feel bad because she is older. “Your body is nothing to brag about,” she says. “I wouldn’t be proud of it.”

“Why I Fell In Love With Being Bound”

“Part of the appeal of submission is in gifting your control to someone else. When we play with bondage, the rope becomes an extension of my partner, something he can put his energy into to make me feel the things he wants me to feel.”

AND!

We need 1000 followers by the end of November. So! So so so.
We REALLY want to keep making and spreading our excellent sexy stuff —
and we hope YOU want to continue interacting with our excellent sexy stuff. Help us mash our stuff into bits, spread it ‘round*, plant it in the ground, watch it grow into a gorgeous, beddable, badass tree hewn from the PULP of all y’all’s love and support.
