This month’s People Podcast explores Pulselive’s expansion in the North American market, speaking with Laura Attwell — Director, Business Development for North America — about this exciting new venture!
Laura joined our business recently and as such, we were keen to understand her role and the responsibilities she has undertaken. As a Business Development Director, Laura is responsible for leading the business development and client management for Pulselive in the US and Canada and plays a huge part in our success overseas. In the podcast, we talked about the key focus of Laura’s role which is to drive awareness for the Pulselive brand, strategically build strong client relationships and, in her own words, “drive growth with existing and potential new clients in the region”.
Much of Laura’s experience has been within professional sports, and more recently in sports technology specifically. She highlights that the opportunity of working at Pulselive “was a true complement of both” and she is motivated by Pulselive’s work with some of its existing clients (e.g. Premier League), to help the business grow and make a positive impact in a new market.
So, why does the North American market need Pulselive’s presence? Laura explains in our Podcast that the Sports Industry in the US and Canada is “rich” with some of the best professional sports leagues and teams. She describes the current state of the sports tech industry as “pivotal”, with many organisations looking to evolve, innovate and further develop their digital presence — whether that be their website, apps or streaming service — Pulselive can be their |”one stop shop” to help develop their digital goals.
We have developed a trustworthy and innovative brand here in the UK, Europe and into Australia and are extremely excited to build our reputation within the North American market!
