Team Pulselive: The People Podcast | Episode 13 — Our Projects and OTT Offering
In this episode of our People Podcast, we are chatting to Lorraine Panman — Programme Lead at Pulselive. Lorraine manages Pulselive’s OTT division overseeing the delivery of all ongoingOTT projects. Lorraine’s team works collaboratively with the wider Pulselive teams including Product, Design and our Developers as well as assisting our many clients with planning roadmaps and looking at ways to deliver features in a more efficient way.
Outside of working, Lorraine is an avid runner and rugby fan!
We started by asking Lorraine what are Pulselive’s OTT offerings? “We deliver OTT streaming websites and mobile apps for a number of clients within Sports. This includes a library of video widgets such as video and category rails, heros for live and video on demand — all controlled via the Pulselive Experience Platform that can be designed according to customers branding to quickly build up a working site.
Pulselive also have extensive experience in sports data integrations to provide scores, fixtures and timetables to provide all the information in one place and enhance the fan experience with transitions from upcoming to live and then completed.”
At Pulselive, we get the chance to work on some really exciting projects within the sporting industry! In the episode, we chat to Lorraine about a recent project the team have been working on with FIBA: “Courtside1891 is a streaming service for the international basketball federation (FIBA) and sports marketing agency (Two Circles). We launched the streaming service within only 4.5 months from starting the project! Pretty impressive!
Pulselive provide both the website and mobile apps for this subscription service that streams FIBA competitions live for users and fans. Also included are a whole range of basketball replays, editorial videos as well as videos from FIBA’s YouTube channel.
FIBA’s vision is to be the home for global basketball fans and in addition to all the video pages we also developed a Game Centre which provides the fixtures and scores for all basketball games allowing users to keep up to date with all the latest action.”
