Our Design chapter at Pulselive play a vital role in making our products look and feel great to our users, and we have many different disciplines that fall under this title; including Conceptual Design, Brand and Graphics Design and most notably Product Design. Product design describes the process of imagining, creating, and iterating products that solve users’ problems or address specific needs in a given market; and these individuals, along with the rest of the team, are responsible for every facet of creative that Pulselive delivers.
This month’s People Podcast episode looks at Pulselive’s Creative team, where we speak with James Green, Product Design Lead, about why he likes working in the Design Chapter and informed decision making in the world of Product Design!
It’s very important for our Design team to make informed decisions when it comes to what we’re producing. Lead by our Creative Director and Design Leads, our Design team have to consider lots of different factors and take everything we know from analytics and research, as well as client and user goals and objectives, to define what our products should be doing and how they should be doing it. Taking all of this into account in every single stage of development ensures we are creating the best product for our clientele; the sports fan.
We’re an extremely collaborative bunch at Pulselive with cross-functional squads that work together to produce high quality products for our clients. Our squads become very close and are always stretching each others thinking when it comes to new ideas and design decisions, ensuring everyone has an input on the final product. Like all of our Chapters at Pulselive, our Design team push each other to excel by sharing knowledge and experiences, allowing others to develop their own skills and become experts in their fields.
